New Membership Application

Chapter One: Membership Requirements

Article (1): Eligibility for Membership

Membership in the Club is open to individuals who meet the following requirements:

1. Be an owner of a commercial, industrial, craft, or agricultural company or establishment officially registered with the competent authorities, or a manager of a private commercial company or establishment.
2. Be of good character and conduct and enjoy a good business reputation.
3. Have no conviction for an offence involving dishonesty or dishonour, unless legally rehabilitated.
4. Agree to and sign the Articles of Association and the Code of Business Ethics, and undertake to comply with both.
5. Commit to paying the membership fees and annual subscription.
6. Complete the designated membership application form.

Article (2): Admission to Membership

Membership in the Club shall become valid upon approval by a majority of the Board of Directors.

Article (3): Suspension of Membership

The General Assembly may, by majority approval and upon a proposal from the Board of Directors, suspend a member's membership in any of the following cases:

1. Damaging the Club's reputation in any manner.
2. Prejudicing the Club's interests or causing harm to the Club.
3. Failing to pay the annual subscription after receiving written notice from the Club's management.
4. If any of the circumstances specified in Article (4) of these Rules apply to the member, pending expulsion.

Article (4): Termination of Membership

Membership shall terminate in any of the following cases:

1. Death or loss of legal capacity.
2. Termination of membership by a majority resolution of the General Assembly in any of the following cases:
   • Breach of the membership terms and conditions stipulated in Article (5) of these Rules.
   • Withdrawal from the Club. Withdrawal shall not take effect until the member has settled all outstanding obligations and obtained approval from the Board of Directors.
   • Expulsion from the Club pursuant to a reasoned decision.
3. Expulsion: A member shall be expelled with the approval of the General Assembly if the member commits any of the following violations:
   • A proven violation of applicable laws.
   • A deliberate violation of these Rules or the regulations.
   • A proven act involving dishonesty or misconduct contrary to ethical standards.

Chapter Two: Membership Rights and Obligations

Article (5): Membership Rights

Members of the Club shall enjoy the following rights:

1. Attend General Assembly meetings and express their opinions and proposals.
2. Stand for election to elected bodies, provided that they have been members of the General Assembly for at least one full year.
3. Vote and stand as candidates in elections for the Club and its bodies.
4. Enjoy the benefits and services offered by the Club to its members.
5. Attend and participate in activities and events organised by the Club.
6. Obtain a membership card.

Article (6): Membership Obligations

Members shall:

1. Comply with and respect these Rules, the regulations, and decisions issued by the Club.
2. Commit to attending General Assembly meetings.
3. Pay membership fees and the annual subscription by their specified due dates.
