The Investor and Business Development Club (YiGD) held the first meeting of the newly elected administrative board for its fourth term, attended by a distinguished group of Yemeni businessmen and investors in Turkey. The meeting took place in an interactive atmosphere aimed at strengthening communication and expanding economic cooperation among members.
The meeting began with a speech by the club’s president, Mr. Shukri Al-Faris, who emphasized the importance of the upcoming phase in activating economic activities and expanding areas of joint investment, praising the role of members in supporting the club’s journey and achieving its objectives.
The meeting included a discussion session titled “Opportunities and Prospects for Investment in the Agricultural Sector in the Sisterly Country of Egypt”, presented by businessman Mr. Ali Al-Yahari. During the session, he reviewed promising investment opportunities and the advantages offered by the Egyptian government to foreign investors, and proposed a unique investment initiative for a collaborative agricultural project among the club’s members.
The meeting also featured valuable contributions from members, most notably a speech by Dr. Wahid Al-Faris, head of the Yemeni community in Turkey, who praised the club’s efforts and called for expanding activities to include various Yemeni economic sectors in Turkey and beyond.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees expressed their appreciation for the new administrative board, commended the excellent organization and positive working environment, and visited the club’s new office, marking the beginning of a new phase of institutional work and constructive investment cooperation.
